So how can you contribute as part of the ShareFile team? We are searching for someone who can help us make a little magic for our customers and their clients every day. We want someone who is customer-centric, data-driven, able to work cross-functionally, and approaches obstacles with passion and curiosity. In the Product Manager role, you will be the subject matter expert of ShareFile billing functionality and experience. This includes:

  • Customer Insight: Be the voice of the customer and ability to leverage user feedback to understand how users engage with the product and drive meaningful outcomes for business. Ability to use data to generate actionable insights and leverage insights to achieve product goals.
  • Product Strategy: Developing and communicating a clear product vision and strategy aligned with the company's goals and market needs. Ability to define clear roadmap of prioritized features and initiatives that deliver against that vision. Be able to drive meaningful business outcomes by connecting product outputs to the goals of the company.
  • Strong Business Acumen: Understanding the business aspects of SaaS solutions of ShareFile’s billing experience and functionality, including market dynamics, competitive landscape, and customer needs. Ability to align product strategies with business goals and make data-driven decisions.
  • Market Research: Conducting market research and competitive analysis to identify customer needs, market trends, and opportunities for product innovation and differentiation.
  • Requirement Definition: Working closely with customers, sales, and support teams to gather requirements and feedback, translating them into actionable product specifications and user stories.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and sales, to ensure alignment and successful product launches.
  • Stakeholder Management: Engaging with key stakeholders, such as executives, customers, and partners, to gather feedback, address concerns, and maintain strong relationships.
  • Product Evangelism: Serving as a product evangelist, internally and externally, by effectively communicating the value proposition and benefits of the product to customers, prospects, and the market.
  • Technical Knowledge: A solid understanding of cloud software development processes and technologies. Familiarity with agile methodologies, cloud computing, APIs, and other software-related concepts is beneficial.
  • Communication and Influence: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, senior executives, customers, and external stakeholders. Strong presentation and negotiation skills are also important.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required within business administration, computer science, or similar field.
  • 2-4 years of experience as a Product Manager in a similar field
  • Experience working with SaaS and Technology, software applications in B2B or B2C
  • Experience with data analysis, competitive analysis, business and market trends

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master degree is a plus
  • Experience in a customer facing role, consulting, customer success, support, sales or business development is a plus
