Applied Materials has an exciting opportunity for an experienced program management professional to join a growing Legal and Compliance team. In this role, you will support and manage key programs across the Global Litigation and Compliance organization including strategic initiatives aimed at improving operational excellence and mitigating related areas of compliance risk. You will work closely with the different pillars across the Global Litigation and Compliance organization as well as have the opportunity to collaborate across the entire Legal and Compliance organization. 

This position requires excellent organizational skills, PowerPoint skills, communication skills, attention to detail, and keen judgment for prioritization and execution in a fast-paced environment.

This role will be based out of Applied Materials’ office in Santa Clara, CA.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure that specific project and program objectives are defined for areas of responsibility, document business requirements and develop detailed project plans to support/manage/lead key programs and strategic initiatives.
  • Identify scope, define critical milestones, map timelines, spot risks, negotiate resources, assign ownership, and publish updates to drive and report timely progress of programs.
  • Provide oversight, coordinate across stakeholders, communicate progress and manage escalations on projects.
  • Create and pull together PowerPoint presentation decks for updates to corporate executives, senior management and business leaders.
  • Help to develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and productivity metrics to measure program success and create/maintain data-driven dashboards that report key results.
  • Help to develop internal business processes and protocols, process and workflow documentation and playbooks, and standard presentation and reporting templates.
  • Keep documentation organized and maintain systematized repositories to help improve visibility, increase accountability, and enable enhanced decision-making & governance.
  • Help to design, maintain, and refresh content on program websites and SharePoint tools.
  • Develop and maintain a strong knowledge of the products, services, and operations of the company.

Desired Qualifications
 

MBA or Bachelor’s degree in Management or Bachelor’s degree in Program Management, or similar degree from a recognized university.  Minimum 6 – 8 years’ relevant program management experience in a multi-national company, preferably in the technology or professional consulting sector.  Program management training and certifications (i.e., Project Management Professional or equivalent).  

  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analysis, and excellent project management skills.
  • Strong presentation, PowerPoint and data visualization skills to communicate with stakeholders and influence decisions.
  • Experience in leading multi-disciplinary project teams or global initiatives including collaborating with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Creative problem solver, excellent verbal and written communication skills, detail-oriented, flexible, impeccable integrity, and good judgment.
  • Positive disposition and can-do attitude to support and contribute where needed.
  • Collaborative by nature and able to build strong partnerships.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, global environment and ability to manage and prioritize a diverse and complex workload. 
  • Self-motivated, driven, and ability to work independently and in teams.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Technology background or work experience in the technology sector preferred.
  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree from a recognized university a plus.
  • Basic level familiarity with OneTrust Data Protection and Privacy Management platform or the willingness to learn basic functionality of the platform a plus
  • Tableau and Visio skills a plus.
  • Additional language skills a plus.

U.S. Salary Range:

$100,000.00 - $137,500.00

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.

For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
