Job Description Summary:
This position represents an exciting opportunity to join, learn, and grow on our enthusiastic and diverse team. As an Account Executive, you would be responsible for acquiring new PayPal business accounts and managing those existing relationships through the sales lifecycle. Meet and exceed established sales and revenue targets.
Build, manage and deliver on a pipeline and forecast of company-provided and prospected business opportunities.
Meet and exceed sales activity targets such as discovery calls, outbound communications, new account acquisitions and close rates.
Develop personal sales strategies to achieve sales goals and exceed sales targets.
Ability to execute the entire sales process starting with prospecting new leads to the activation of new accounts.
Maintain and promote a positive and professional persona while building collaborative relationships among potential and existing internal and external customers and colleagues.
Demonstrate productive teamwork through positive attitude, being supportive in words and actions, embodying the core values of PayPal.
Exemplify job professionalism through exercising discretion and good judgment, while keeping company and customer information confidential.
Maintain comprehensive understanding and application of PayPal product and services, market competitors, industry trends and client success stories as provided by management.
Perform other duties as assigned to contribute to overall sales and team results.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent sales experience with an inside sales organization.
1+ years of outbound sales experience in technology and ecommerce, such as infrastructure, software, fintech, or online retail industries.
Knowledge and understanding of processing and financial models in e-commerce is a plus.
Proven ability to close deals of more than $2 million annually.
Strong verbal and written communications skills are a must.
Experience with Salesforce.com is a plus.
Proficient in Office 365 and other desktop solutions, with an ability to navigate a desktop environment easily.
A team player with great interpersonal, cross-functional project management abilities.
Ability to multi-task and work many sales opportunities simultaneously.
Self-motivated with a great sense of urgency and follow-through.
Bilingual speaker is a plus. (English with French or Cantonese.)
