The Senior Manager Pharmacy Colleague Product (Pre-Order Experience) supports their respective product leadership across one or more product teams. They define and drive the execution of initiatives that cross multiple products or experiences, support the translation of business and user needs into technology-enabled solutions, ensure the product roadmap is optimized to achieve long-term key user and business goals.

They are responsible for creating and managing the product development roadmap, and for coordinating dependencies across teams. They function as the main point of contact for successful epic delivery and final customer outcomes, working directly with Team Product Leads when necessary to ensure features are on track for near-term and long-term delivery. This individual will drive status for cross-product metrics and develop initiative-level measurement plans through alignment across key stakeholders. They will drive the successful delivery and go-to-market plan of their integrated product areas and socialize updates with senior leadership.

This individual will work closely and cross-functionality with Team Product Leads, Product Strategy, and business stakeholders to communicate critical updates and insights, specifically to key stakeholders and organization leaders.

Product Vision, Strategy, and Road mapping (25%)

  • Defines the Epic or initiative vision through a deep understanding of customer needs and complexity through communication with senior Team Product Leaders. Effectively communicates the product vision to team members
  • Drives alignment of E2E experiences across products and channels while also evaluating consistency of the experiences across different channels
  • Responsible for reviewing and aligning roadmaps and workforce management tools across their respective solution and product areas
  • Supports Team Product Leads to develop feature-level roadmaps for their features that supports the broader Epic’s or initiative's roadmap

Team Backlog Ownership, User Story Development, and Prioritization (25%)

  • Manage multiple backlogs for products and/or experiences. This individual will often support Team Product Leads on refining specific products or experiences
  • Lead a cross-functional product team through discovery and define scope to achieve user and business outcomes and communicate updates and changes to Team Product Leads
  • Leads identification of exploration enablers needed and owns discovery and architectural runway. This includes writing enabler features and documenting learning outcomes

Trend Monitoring and Product Performance (10%)

  • Create Epic-level or initiative-level measurement plans including success metrics, thresholds, and release plans. They ensure alignment with key stakeholders prior to deliver, report on critical updates, and contribute to product-level analyses as necessary
  • Uses performance data to identify issues quickly, and develop new insights and hypothesis about product health
  • Drive status for OKR metrics, Experiences that Matter the Most (ETMMS; customer satisfaction and task accomplishment rates) and Brilliant Basics through communication with Product Leads.
  • Understands product health to inform roadmap and stakeholder updates. Key metrics include core Product Metrics (i.e., Visits, Success Rates, etc.), Technical Health (i.e, Site Speed, Crash Rate, API Performance, etc.), Customer Feedback (i.e., App Rating, Quantum Metric, Medallia, etc.) and/or other appropriate metrics

Product Value, Cross-Functional Teaming, and Stakeholder Management (30%)

  • As a part of the cross-functional team, collaborates closely with engineering, design, engineering, architecture, operations and other team members using agile practices
  • Interface and partners with Product Strategy to communicate progress, insights, and risks across the business, specifically with key stakeholders  
  • Collaborate with business partners to deeply understand their business strategies and outcomes their teams are driving to ensure business perspective is reflected and communicated to product teams
  • Identifies and communicate product dependencies and assemble teams to identify solutions

Grow and Develop the Team (10%)

  • Sets a positive culture by growing, coaching, and setting expectations on ways of working for team members. This is done through providing actionable feedback, modeling leading practices, time investment in junior team members, and continued collaboration

Education & Experience:

· Bachelor’s degree related field of study of Pharmacy, Business, or Technology or equivalent experience (high school + 4 years of relevant experience).

· 7+ years required Product Management experience with 1-2+ years of Sr. Product Management experience within an agile environment.

. 2+ years of Specialty Pharmacy experience related to pharmacy operations.  Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacist preferred.
 

Preferred Skills:

· Prior working experience with a software development team in an agile environment

· Ability to drive cross functional teams to alignment amid ambiguity.

· Strong negotiation, organizational, management, analytical and people skills

· Data-driven decision making and quantitative analysis skills.

· Master’s degree in business or technology management curriculums

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$130,295.00 - $284,280.00


This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.  This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
