An opportunity to play your part – As part of the Reporting and Insights team at Centrica the Workday Reporting Analyst will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining reports and dashboards. This will be across the various Workday process areas including HCM, UK Payroll, Talent, Recruitment, Learning, Performance, Time & Absence, PRISM, Extend, and Peakon.

 You will offer insights into business processes and work collaboratively with colleagues, fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, innovative environment and has a solid understanding of data reporting and business processes.

An ideal candidate would have experience of Reporting within Workday, Prism and be proficient in the use of Power Bi. A Reporting and Insight Analyst plays a key role in delivering accurate, timely and informative reports and insight to help drive business decisions.

The day to day –

  • Design, develop, and maintain custom reports, dashboards and discovery boards in Workday ensuring data accuracy and integrity
  • Leverage technology to provide an aligned, self-serve reporting suite to meet to the needs of stakeholders
  • Delivery of meaningful, data-driven insight to help inform business decisions
  • Establish and maintain connections with key stakeholders.
  • Investigate available technologies and features for potential utilisation.
  • Develop skills in new reporting technologies to provide a variety of solutions.
  • Keep up-to-date design process documentation and adhere to team standards.
  • Advocate for best practices, streamline processes, and enhance efficiencies.
  • Participate in the wider Centrica Workday eco-system

About You –

  • Experience in Workday Reporting including dashboards, discovery boards, calculated fields
  • A strong analytical background with prior experience of providing accurate and timely reports
  • Clear communicator able to translate ideas and requirements, drive decisions and document solutions
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Manage stakeholder relationships
  • Able to plan and organize workload to ensure the achievement of targets and outcomes
  • Able to self-manage confidently, with good personal productivity and self-motivation
  • Able to work under pressure and to challenging deadlines
  • Passion for working with people and data, and a strong interest in helping colleagues
  • Proficient analytical and creative problem-solving skills

Technical Requirements –

  • Workday reporting experience – essential
  • Workday reporting certification – desirable
  • Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) - essential
  • Microsoft Power BI – essential
  • Prism – desirable
  • Extend - desirable
