The Role:

The Project Manager manages key client projects. The Project Manager's responsibilities include coordinating and completing projects on time within budget and scope. The PM will oversee all aspects of projects, set deadlines, assign responsibilities, monitor, summarize and prepare reports for upper management regarding the status of the project. The PM will work directly with clients to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget.

This position is based in Fort Saskatchewan, AB.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor overall health & execution of a project scope; deliverables, timeline and budget
  • Primary customer interface throughout execution of project
  • Responsible for technical and financial aspects of projects
  • Regularly reports projects and status to project stakeholders
  • Leading/facilitating/conducting team meetings for Project execution
  • Analyze financial health of project
  • Lower complexity project
  • May support Sr level PM in project execution.
  • Support the monitoring of schedule attainment;
  • Assist in meeting project/customer requirements and keeping track of project/customer requirements;
  • Margin attainment;
  • Customer satisfaction

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree - Technical
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in project management
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software (MS Project)
  • Candid and timely communication
  • Take initiative; detail-oriented
  • Understanding of ERP system
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced understanding of MS Office (project, word, excel)
  • Forward thinking; basic business acumen
  • Basic project environment
  • Good organizational skills
