As a Business Analyst, you will be working in a fast-paced environment, closely partnered with business stakeholders as part of project teams utilizing the Agile / Waterfall methodologies to deliver new capabilities and business value.  You will configure, design, test and support Micron applications. You will participate in new functionality estimation, analysis, design and development of application requirements by working closely with one of the Enterprise Applications (Supply Chain, Facilities, Finance, Sales, Procurement, People Solutions, Application Maintenance, Product Life Cycle and Business Data Analytics) stakeholders and other members of the team. Demonstrate the necessary functional skillset beyond Applications areas.

As Supply Chain Business Analyst, you will be working with Supply Chain eco-system which includes world leading planning platforms like Rapid response, Blue Yonder and SAP along with multi in-house developed systems with seamless integrations will drive to achieve supply chain application goals. This would expect BA to understand the Micron domain business processes, understand the data models, understanding business requirements, able to generate the analytical reports along with core system skills like demand planning, supply planning and order promising concepts. Good understanding of subcontracting processes is a plus.

Today, supply chain solutions are being orchestrated by most advanced tools like Rapid Response & Blue Yonder, which are more prominent from Gartner magic quadrant, placing them on top of top of the able. Micron is one of the semi-conductor industries using both advanced planning solution tools which would enhance Micron’s growth prospects.

Roles & Responsibilities can include but are not limited to:

  • Support the respective Enterprise Applications areas driving towards decisions and recommending best practices.
  • Identify strategies, risks, and options, recommend approaches and mitigations to meet functional requirements.
  • Perform the impact assessment, identify all the stakeholders needed to execute the task.
  • Closely working with business & other stakeholders to gather the requirements.
  • Configure, design and test the Application Processes as per the acceptance criteria
  • Analyze and resolve day to day Application based issues.
  • Creating and Updating Application specific configurations based on requirement changes.
  • Analyze Application Updates and provide recommendations to Business.
  • Provide the Project Manager with status updates and keep them apprised with regular status updates.  
  • Work within cross-functional & technical teams to drive successful deployments.
  • Strong systems thinking and problem-solving capability.
  • Self-motivated and outcome oriented
  • Capability to build strong rapport with customer groups. 
  • Experience in collaborating with team members to drive results.
  • Ability to work independently with short deadlines. 
  • Strong communication skills (written, verbal and presentation)

Educational Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in business operations / business applications & systems
  • Good project experience or knowledge of databases and ETL tools.
  • Good understanding on the programming / coding practices
  • Good exposure to programming languages and PLSQL / scripting.
  • A passion for data and information with strong analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills.
  • Good understanding or exposure to data models and reporting packages.
  • Familiarity or good exposure to Agile or DevOps concepts.
  • Attention to detail and ability to analyze large datasets.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • CGPA requirements = 7.5 CGPA & Above
