JR59106 Facilities Engineer (Mechanical/Chemical)

Job Responsibilities:

A) Operation & Maintenance

  • To be Water Services & Gases System owner for City Water, RO System, DI System, Wastewater System, Gases System, Water Recycling system
  • Provide support for operational issues and root cause analysis with basic knowledge of the systems to continues improve the system.
  • Analyze system capabilities and future requirements during scenario evaluations based on manufacturing capacity and demand
  • Support design reviews for base build systems in your area of responsibility ensuring specifications are meet and cost reduction improvements are identified.
  • Support tool install designs for the systems that connect to those tools insuring specifications are met and cost reduction improvements are identified.
  • Review and support capacity analysis for your systems tracking against actual data from the facility.
  • Identifies and evaluates risk analysis for your systems and proposes possible improvements to meet departmental LO1K target.
  • Practice 6S and TPM2.0 with facilities 12Discpline on daily work to ensure comply to legal requirement

B) Equipment and Facilities Process

  • Provide solutions to real time equipment and process problems.
  • Use, identify and implement equipment and process control methods
  • Develop and implement long term improvements in equipment or processes that result in cost reduction, improved reliability and safety improvements.
  • Identifies root cause from the excursion or abnormal operation and conducts analytical improvement and lesson learnt as part of preventive actions.
  • Identifies and evaluates interactions between equipment and processes and resolve potential problems.
  • To perform all the maintenance work as per Maximo/SAP schedule and enhance the maintenance job to reduce equipment downtime

C)Project

  • Participate in or manage specific projects.
  • Involve in project scheduling and planning for efficient and effective project execution
  • Managing and controlling availability of manpower, material, cost, timeline and ensuring quality in delivery

D) Environmental, Health, Safety and Security (EHSS)

  • Follow all EHSS procedures to ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Ensure compliance of all facility equipment in accordance to regulations.
  • Ensure compliance of daily activity in facility within the regulatory permissible limit.

E) Cost Reduction

  • Responsible for reducing costs associated within the area and meet departmental target CAVS. This responsibility may include owning and completing cost reduction projects, identifying cost effective sustaining/manufacturing improvements, minimizing regular expenditures, and helping to promote a cost conscious culture.

Requirement:

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Mechanical engineering/ Chemical Engineering
  • Min 5 years related experience on the industry field of water & gases system background (Water Services - RO/DI, Wastewater Services - WWTP, Recycling, STP, Gases- N2, CO2, Argon, etc)
  • Knowledgeable on local code requirement such as ISO 14001, OHSAS 45001, etc 
  • Lead the team to perform operation & maintenance activity.
  • Additionally continue driving water system performance such as quality improvement, energy saving, etc.
  • Familiar with Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA), and problem solving skills
  • CePIETSO-PCP, STP competency will be added advantage
  • Self motivated, poses initiative and ability to work independently
  • Team player with good communication & interpersonal skill.
