Role Overview:

This position is for a temporary engagement through our staffing partner DZConneX (Yoh Services). The anticipated duration of this engagement will vary and will be a minimum of 12 months.

This multi-faceted role encompasses Business Systems Analysis, Project Management, and Business Analysis responsibilities. The Analyst will support the PlayStation Studios QA business group, a part of Sony Interactive Entertainment.

Joining an established Business Systems team, the candidate will work with diverse technologies across a wide landscape. This role requires immediate engagement in project analysis and delivery, ensuring project management and analysis improve the quality of deliverables.

What you will be doing:

Project Planning and Maintenance

  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration.
  • Support project delivery with planning, communication, and risk management.
  • Address issues and feature requests during the support stage.
  • Oversee system management, troubleshooting, and documentation maintenance.

Business Systems Analysis

  • Gather and analyze business requirements through various methods.
  • Identify process optimization opportunities and reconcile conflicting stakeholder goals.
  • Review design documents and test plans for alignment with business needs.
  • Train end users and document procedures for business applications.

Application Support

  • Develop and maintain test cases to ensure comprehensive coverage.
  • Collaborate with teams to perform thorough testing and ensure high-quality releases.
  • Report issues clearly and assist developers in resolving them effectively.
  • Support users by addressing technical issues and system usage queries.

What we are looking for:

  • Experience in business systems management, implementation, and technical project management for medium to large-scale projects.
  • Proficiency in Business Systems Analysis, IT administration, and user support.
  • Familiarity with global organizations, agile environments, and QA testing (preferred).
  • Knowledge of business systems, database design, SDLC, and process mapping.
  • Exposure to ServiceNow, Salesforce, or similar enterprise CRM tools (a plus).
  • Good communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to convey complex ideas effectively to diverse audiences.

Desirable skills:

  • Familiarity with different development methodologies.
  • Familiarity with gaming industry will be considered a strong asset.
