Our People Experience team is seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join the team.

Reporting to the Manager People Experience – Perform, this role will be responsible for providing HR support, advice and coaching to an operational business portfolio. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business partnering, employee relations and delivering cyclical people activities and a proven track record of partnering with operational teams to drive business results through effective HR practices.

This role is offered on a Full Time 24month Maximum Term Contract
 
What will you be doing?

• Providing recommendations and solutions covering multiple areas of HR including resource planning, reward and recognition, performance, development, engagement, talent and succession and communication and change.
• Support the business with high risk and complex people issues, conducting investigations and resolving employee relations issues
• Delivering and driving cyclical People activities in collaboration with business leaders and People and Capability (P&C) subject matter experts (SMEs)
• Partnering with leaders on business problems that require people data, insights and solutions
• Providing advice to line managers on contemporary industrial and employee relations practices
• Collaborate with P&C colleagues to ensure consistency and alignment of HR programs and processes across the organisation
• Providing interpretation and counsel to leaders regarding policies, procedures and processes relating to employees

What are we looking for in you?

• Demonstrated experience as an HR Business Partner or similar HR generalist role
• Degree or tertiary qualification in HR or other relevant discipline
• Demonstrated experience working within a diverse, high volume operational environment
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations, with demonstrated experience in handling complex employee relations issues
• Experience delivering multi-mode communications to diverse and complex stakeholder groups
• Ability to identify new ways for HR to drive business performance
• Demonstrated initiative and strong decision-making skills
• Strong relationship management and influencing skills
