PRODUCTION

What We Do

Whether it’s driving a vision from start to finish or collaborating with teams to inspire and deliver projects of Epic quality, Epic’s production teams take pride in consistently delivering world-class products and experiences.

What You'll Do

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Technical Producer with a preferred background in audio technology to help drive organization, communication, planning and process execution between multiple programming teams. Collaborating closely with leadership teams, you will help drive ongoing strategic alignment and execution of critical priorities, roadmap development, and high-level goal setting. This role is tailor-made for a strategic problem solver with senior-level organizational production and operations expertise, as well as expert communication skills. The ideal candidate is passionate about driving tactical planning and execution, nurturing product development, and fostering team engagement. Familiarity with audio tools and programming practices is highly desirable.

In this role, you will

  • Partner and coordinate across programming teams to drive cross-functional strategic goal planning with senior leadership-level visibility, facilitating alignment across audio programming groups and development stakeholders on roadmaps, goals and milestones
  • Develop a sustainable planning process with senior leadership that allows many voices to contribute to prioritization
  • Drive clarity and efficiency within the leadership team by orchestrating effective meetings, information gathering, design planning and execution. Ensure and project out clear timelines, roles, and responsibilities for resulting actions
  • Manage upwards to create visibility around challenges, progress and team health
  • Own workflow planning, tracking, and schedule management and production tools
  • Own the tactical, day to day execution of the tasks required to keep teams moving - running stand-ups, handling JIRA issues, organizing and managing meetings, etc
  • Proactively seek resolution - identify problems and propose solutions for your team before they become roadblocks. Own the outcome of your area, and never wait to see if someone else will clear your path

What we're looking for

  • Extensive experience in the areas of strategic planning, program development and management
  • Industry experience with technical product development or R&D in an audio related discipline
  • Expert level people management and soft skills
  • Expert level writing and communication skills
  • Experience working with audio tech in a cross functional, multi-product software development environment
  • Bonus points - demonstrated practical and theoretical understanding of Music Programming tools such as Super Collider, chucK, Max/MSP, or MetaSounds
  • Bonus points - knowledge of audio technology and musical training

This role is open to multiple locations in North America (including CA & WA).
