What You Will Do:
Guidehouse is seeking a Web Tester to join our team to test and evaluate the performance of our client’s portfolio of web applications including its flagship website. You’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the functionality, usability, and overall performance of our web applications.
You’ll be responsible for conducting thorough tests, identifying potential issues, and providing valuable feedback to our development and design teams, and your efforts will contribute to delivering high-quality websites that provide an exceptional user experience.
What You Will Do:
Conduct comprehensive testing of websites across various browsers, devices, and platforms to ensure functionality and responsiveness.
Execute manual and automated testing procedures to identify bugs, errors, and inconsistencies in website performance.
Verify that website elements, such as links, forms, images, and videos, are working correctly and provide an optimal user experience.
Test website navigation, user interface, and overall design for intuitive and user-friendly interactions.
Document and report defects, issues, and improvement suggestions using designated testing tools and platforms.
Collaborate with development and design teams to explain identified issues, recommend solutions, and verify bug fixes.
Participate in the development of test cases, test plans, and testing strategies based on project requirements and specifications.
Assist in ensuring website compliance with industry standards, accessibility guidelines, and best practices.
Keep up-to-date with emerging trends, technologies, and advancements in website testing and quality assurance.
Provide feedback and recommendations for process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the testing process.
What You Will Need:
An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED TOP SECRET Federal or DoD security clearance
Bachelors Degree
FIVE (5) or more years of proven experience as a Website Tester, Quality Assurance Tester, or relevant testing experience
Strong understanding of website development, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Familiarity with web testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JIRA, Bugzilla, etc.).
Experience in both manual and automated testing methodologies and tools.
Knowledge of testing methodologies, software development life cycle (SDLC), and Agile methodologies.

Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and articulate testing results and recommendations.
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time efficiently to meet project deadlines.

A proactive and problem-solving mindset to continuously improve website quality and user experience.
