About the Role

The Analyst position executes comprehensive campaign strategies for Dow Jones. You will support various marketing business units by executing web and in-app campaigns across Wall Street Journal, Barron's and MarketWatch. You will reside in the Marketing Operations team within the Marketing Organization. You will play a critical role in implementing marketing campaign initiatives, managing the customer experience, as well as generating new business via nurturing relationships. This position will manage a direct report, providing mentorship and quality control in a collaborative environment.

You Will:

  • Implementation and QC of marketing promotions on Dow Jones flagship sites, including publishing marketing offers and content on the website and in-app
  • Management of the website and in-app campaign execution process from beginning to end, including but not limited to: gathering requirements, meeting with stakeholders and tech partners, communicating and translating technical specifications, quality assurance of the campaign, and launch of the final campaign
  • Host regular meetings with stakeholders and tech teams to understand campaign, pricing, and experience requirements in order to properly fulfill requests and manage workload
  • Oversee campaign metadata tagging to track and analyze website traffic - integral to campaign reporting
  • Develop business logic to enable the creation of audience segments and personalization in support of consumer marketing campaigns
  • Manage digital asset library and data dictionary
  • Perform continuous quality assurance of web and in-app placements as well as user acceptance testing
  • Work closely with the offer management team to ensure that onsite acquisition campaign experiences and pricing are correct for all site visitors and e-commerce flow works as expected
  • Partner with a QA manager to manage the timelines, UAT, goals for testing, align on measurable KPIs, and create test plans
  • Demonstrated experience working with engineering teams to set standards, drive platform improvements, and ensure we are leveraging the technology to its full extent
  • Produce campaign reporting to inform future marketing strategies and request Tableau dashboards to be built as needed
  • Act as the subject matter expert, facilitating knowledge transfer of website capabilities among stakeholders
  • Become subject matter expert in Dow Jones' consumer data
  • Serve as primary point of contact for web vendors to leverage and enhance website campaign capabilities

You Have:

  • 2+ years experience in marketing, marketing automation or operations preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in website operations management
  • 2+ years in a data focused CRM, Segmentation, Marketing Operations or data analyst role with hands on experience building audiences
  • Ability to deep dive into metrics and data, whether it's to diagnose a problem, evaluate a solution or propose a new KPI
  • Solid MarTech understanding
  • Proven track record of improving business performance through data mining and visualization required
  • Time management and prioritization skills a must
  • Knowledge of Wordpress
  • Knowledge of the ecommerce space
  • Familiarity with paywall platforms such as Piano Composer
  • Project management skills a must, with experience in Jira or other project management software
  • Attention to detail and proficient quality assurance abilities
  • Quick problem solving skills to address roadblocks and production issues
  • Strong written and oral communication skills needed

Pay Range: $75,000 - $95,000
