This experienced Consulting Director is responsible to create new streams of service revenue using Microsoft programs and incentives. They will initiate and convert Microsoft-paid workshops into profitable engagements. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of:

  • Microsoft field incentive programs and processes
  • Microsoft licensing and processes
  • Microsoft sales organization particularly Microsoft SMC
  • MSEM, Microsoft’s sales methodology
  • Microsoft platform and consulting services across Microsoft’s six solution areas

You will work have thorough knowledge of Microsoft licensing and incentive strategies and will act as a business partner to RSM’s field sales, strategic business alliances, and pipeline generation teams to create licensing and incentive strategies that differentiate RSM. You will also be responsible for administration of field incentives from planning to collection.

Effective communication skills are essential, as you will need to explain highly technical licensing and incentive topics to clients and RSM team members in a clear and understandable manner. Furthermore, you will contribute to the growth of our practice by identifying and responding to market opportunities and client needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze Microsoft’s SMC accounts identifying those accounts with the highest propensity to work with RSM and Microsoft. Align those accounts with available Microsoft presales incentives (assessments) and make proactive recommendations to RSM sales teams
  • Manage Microsoft Incentive Process from initiation to collection and reporting back to Microsoft and RSM working with sales & delivery teams to grow revenue based on incentives
  • Develop and maintain a monthly Microsoft Incentive Dashboard
  • Source incentive-initiated deals through to RSM revenue
  • Become a business partner and trusted advisor to RSM sales by understanding and translating Microsoft licensing and incentive programs into tools for sales.
  • Collaborate with Microsoft to identify assessment prospects and engage them
  • Develop offers aligned to incentive programs with delivery teams.
  • Work with delivery teams to manage the delivery of incentive offers and ensure all necessary proof of execution is finished for payment

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in business and technology
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Licensing programs
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Incentive programs
  • Understanding of Microsoft Account Segments particularly SMC
  • Strong process knowledge
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to travel and collaborate with client and other stakeholders when required.

At RSM, an employee’s pay at any point in their career is intended to reflect their experiences, performance, and skills for their current role. The salary range (or starting rate for interns and associates) for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, education, skills, work experience, certifications, location, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.

Compensation Range: $122,300 - $245,900

Individuals selected for this role will be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.
