For our Vacarisses Plant, in Barcelona, we are looking for a:

Factory Master Plan Technician

What you will do  

The mission will be daily review and follow up of works and refurbishments for new constructions and building facilities. The technician assist section manager for the calculation and preparation of needed data, be aware about future factory expansion plans and propose countermeasure actions, draw and prepare plans of general installations of the company. In addition, assist Factory Master Plan manager in the processing of documentation and presentations necessary for the future plans of the company.

How you will do it 

• Preparation and updating of company facilities drawings so that they always reflect the current reality.
• Preparation and updating of company layouts drawings so that they always reflect the current reality.
• Assist  FMP section manager by preparing future layout drawings.
• Assits FMP section manager in the data calculation that allows to propose for future improvements in the whole factory area.
• Request for offers and preparation of comparisons for the execution of works and plant modifications according to prior studies and calculations.
• Assist to FMP section manager in the CAR’s documentation preparation
• Negotiation with suppliers ,buiders etc for costs of modifying facilities or infrastructures that the company wishes to execute.
• Interpret the sales and growth data of the company's future plans to prevent their impact and propose corrective actions.
• Continuous relationship with the rest of the company's departments so that the work to be carried out is carried out in a coordinated manner and with the minimum impact on the normal activity of the company.
• Assist the FMP manager in preparing staff comfort improvement plans..
• Compilation of previous studies and calculations through the use of Power point presentations conclusions in a way that they are clear and understandable.
• Ensure that the auxiliary areas as  dining room, cafeteria services,etc,  are well dimensioned for the current and future needs of the plant.Prepare countermeasuring plan in case of needed.
• Report and promote the resolution of installation points that do not meet the requirements expressed in the plans.
• Declare and denounce the need for additional infrastructures in case of future projects or forecasts that require it
• Be aware and conscious of the limitation of the Department's budgets by carrying out the necessary actions or negotiations to prevent them from suffering deviations against  what was initilally planned
• Preparation of the documentation for the removal of inventory of the fixed assets related to the facilities when these must be withdrawn or ceased to be used.
• Set an example for other employees and departments by making good use and taking good care of the company's own resources and the investments made.
• Manage relationships with contractors and service providers.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety policies
• Report monthly a summary of the work carried out, of those that are being carried out and of those that are planned to be carried out in the coming weeks.
• Daily control of building and refurrbishment activities in the plant made by external subcontractors.Secure action plan accomplishment.

What we are looking for

Engineering school or equivalent learnings. Valuable formation in VSM.

3 years’ experience as Production section manager / manager.

English level
