Overview

The Applications Solutions Engineer will be responsible for designing and supporting application engineering solutions across both Wintel and macOS environments. This role demands hands-on expertise with various application packaging technologies and modern toolsets, requiring a proactive and self-starting engineering mindset. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with both engineering and operations teams to ensure that application solutions are meticulously implemented to provide a secure, reliable, and automated end-user experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support application engineering solutions for Wintel and macOS platforms.
• Utilize and maintain expertise in application packaging technologies and modern toolsets.
• Collaborate closely with engineering teams on solution design and implementation.
• Partner with operations teams to ensure smooth deployment, reliability, and automation of application solutions.
• Focus on delivering a secure and seamless end-user experience for all applications.
• Contribute to the ongoing improvement and automation of application deployment processes.

Job Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience)le

• 7+ years of relevant experience in an Engineering role
• Extensive experience with MS MECM/SCCM for application deployment and management.
• Proficiency in MS ECM/Intune for modern endpoint management and application delivery.
• Hands-on experience with MAC JAMF for macOS device and application management.
• Expertise in AdminStudio for advanced application packaging.
• Deep understanding and practical knowledge of application packaging best practices and methodologies.

Desired Certifications

• AWS Certification (e.g., AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Solutions Architect Associate)
• Azure Cloud Certification (e.g., Azure Fundamentals, Azure Administrator Associate)
• JAMF Associate Certification
• ITIL Foundation Certification
