Your Role and Impact

As our Senior Director, People Business Partner, you will partner with our global Engineering, Product, and Design teams, enabling them to scale effectively while maintaining alignment with Apollo.io’s values and objectives. You’ll provide strategic guidance to senior leaders, acting as a trusted advisor to drive alignment, enhance employee engagement, and foster a high-performance culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, including the C-Suite and SVPs, providing strategic guidance and influencing decisions with data-driven insights.
  • Support global teams in scaling people and processes effectively while ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Champion Apollo.io’s values by promoting ownership, accountability, and continuous learning across teams.
  • Using data, to address organizational challenges such as attrition and engagement, using data to design and implement targeted action plans.
  • Collaborate with managers to create and execute career growth plans, with a goal of 90% adoption across the R&D organization.
  • Partner with Learning & Development to enable managers on key expectations, including delivering feedback, facilitating performance conversations and aligning on role expectations.
  • Lead initiatives to onboard new team members and transition teams into new global entities 
  • Leverage data and insights, including from engagement surveys, people reporting and market benchmarks to drive data-backed decision-making
  • Support cross-functional collaboration by partnering with Payroll, Equity, Legal, and Learning & Development teams.
  • Provide global HR support, focusing on U.S., India, and Poland, ensuring compliance and alignment with local practices.
  • Design scalable, agile solutions to support Apollo.io’s growth while enhancing employee experience.
  • Foster alignment between Engineering, Product, and Design teams, promoting collaboration and tighter cross-functional integration.
  • Play a key role in enabling the success of Apollo.io’s 2025 product launches by building organizational readiness and fostering a culture of excellence.
  • Build trust quickly and establish rapport with diverse stakeholders to drive alignment and impact.

What We’re Looking For

  • 10+ years of HR experience, including 5+ years in a strategic HRBP role supporting technical leaders and leading global HRBP teams.
  • Demonstrated success in influencing and collaborating with senior leaders, including C-Suite executives.
  • Strong analytical and data-driven approach to problem-solving, with experience leveraging engagement, performance, and market data to inform decisions.
  • Expertise in addressing organizational challenges, driving engagement initiatives, and enabling leadership development.
  • Proven ability to build trust, foster collaboration, and implement scalable solutions in a high-growth environment.
  • Transparent communicator with a solutions-focused mindset and a sense of urgency.
  • Ability to move quickly while considering broader impacts and longer-term goals.
