Job Description Qualifications:

Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is seeking a Senior Industrial Security Specialist – Facility Security Officer (FSO) to join our dynamic team in Arlington, Virginia!  The selected candidate will support security activities/programs as a Facility Security Officer (FSO) with potential additional support for proprietary activity (SAP/SCI).

Position Responsibilities:

  • Files program paperwork and performs other administrative and data management tasks as needed
  • Manages and administers all aspects of industrial security programs in compliance with the DoD Manuals, 32 CFR Part 117 NISPOM, ICD’s and other applicable government security directives.
  • Accountable for all day-to-day onsite security operations within the DoD and Proprietary spaces. Responsible for performing multiple disciplines within security to include (but not limited to): personnel security, physical security of program facilities including alarm responses, document control, visitor control, providing access briefings, indoctrinations/debriefs and classified meeting support.
  • Executes Internal Security Controls through performance of compliance assessment reviews and self-inspections to ensure compliance with government and company regulations/requirements.
  • Assists with Government Security Investigations (e.g., collects and analyzes data, writes reports and interviews) on personnel, processes and situations to determine level and scope of non-compliance with government and company regulations/requirements
  • Administers the Security Awareness Training & Education (SATE) Program for programs to ensure security awareness efforts are in place and SATE is appropriately tracked each month
  • Supports Primary COMSEC Account Manager with COMSEC duties for location.
  • Collaborates with Security teammates at associated Boeing locations to support all aspects of corporate security and ensure proper implementation of National Policy.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

This position requires an active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)

This position requires a successfully completed Tier 5 Investigation (T5), formerly known as a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) by federal government within the last 5 years, or requires candidate to have been enrolled in a Continuous Vetting program within the last 5 years.

This position requires SCI eligibility.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Full Scope and/or Counter Intelligence (CI) polygraph.

This position requires ability to obtain program access, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship only.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience working in one or a combination of the following domains: NISP, SAP, and/or SCI.
  • Previous experience as a Facility Security Officer (FSO)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree or higher, or equivalent work or military experience
  • Experience building relationships and partnering with all levels of employees, including executives

Typical Education / Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 15 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+13 years' related work experience, 19 years' related work experience, etc.)

Relocation:

Travel:

This position may require travel up to 10% of the time.

Summary Pay Range: USD $131,750 - $178,250
