Job Summary:

This individual supports the agency in a sales and service role in compliance with standards, policies, procedures and process. The Account Manager is responsible for customer relationship cultivation by seeking and closing cross selling and account rounding opportunities. Customer relationship management by effectively communicating and educating clients regarding their insurance and the services and solutions Acrisure provides.
The success of this role is measured by account retention and rounding revenue, proactively building and maintaining positive relationships with clients, insurance carriers and other divisions within the agency, and training/mentorship of service staff as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing assigned personal lines book of business using a team-based approach in providing exceptional customer service

  • Manage the renewal process and day-to-day account management on all assigned accounts such as processing policies, processing endorsements, processing payments and policy reviews

  • Weekly reporting to team leader

  • Remarketing policies through various carriers

  • Build, expand and solidify relationships with clients by addressing the client’s needs, including the identification and resolution of underwriting and policy issues

  • Build, expand and solidify relationships with strategic partners and centers of influence

  • Identify gaps in coverage and providing adequate solution to client’s exposures

  • Proper annotated documentation of all client interaction

Requirements:

  • Property and Casualty license required

  • Competent and proficient understanding of the Microsoft Office suite

Education/Experience:

  • High School diploma or equivalent

  • 5+ Years of experience in Property & Casualty Insurance, with at least 3 years in agency roles

  • EPIC / AMS 360 experience   

Other Qualifications:

  • Excellent project management and time management skills

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as insurance policies, endorsements, contractual insurance requirements, certificates of insurance and loss runs

  • Ability to effectively communicate in both verbal and written formats with external and internal people and groups

  • Knowledge of business English, to include proper spelling, grammar, and punctuation

  • Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with individuals of varying social and cultural backgrounds and with co-workers at all levels

  • Ability to follow instructions in verbal and written format

  • Ability to demonstrate moral character, honesty, tact, fairness, lack of prejudice and desire to help when dealing with people

  • Excellent skills in reliability, initiative, and stress tolerance

  • Ability to perform in a professional appearance and manner
