As part of the Financial Systems and Control crew, we work in close partnership with Business to effectively prioritise and deliver better outcomes sooner and more safely for our customers.
In this role
Here, you will support internal users and stakeholders of BU finance by ensuring the finance applications are continuously available with up-to-date information.
More specifically you will be
Monitoring and running daily financial reports ensuring a timely delivery
Building and maintaining relationships with various stakeholders
Coordinating with technical teams of upstream core systems that feeds data into the systems
Implementing system enhancements and resolving issues ensuring that changes and project initiatives meet the business requirements and delivered in accordance with the operating model.
Participating in team meetings, regular code reviews and change approval meetings
Developing User Stories, Tasks & Epics with sufficient Technical Detail
We’re interested in hearing from people who have
Extensive hands-on experience in database programming using Microsoft SQL Server, stored procedures, triggers, functions and agent Jobs
Experience with developing, maintaining and optimizing ETL packages using SSIS.
Strong ability to create and manage reports using SSRS, including designing complex, dynamic reports.
Experience with BI and visualisation tools such as Tableau/Power BI
Strong problem solving and analytical skills with attention to detail
Sound communications skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships
Ability to work in a rapidly changing landscape to agile timelines
