The opportunity:

We currently have a 12-month fixed term opportunity for a New Business Consultant, responsible for processing and finalising all new business items.

This role involves working collaboratively with the New Business Operations teams to ensure all documentation is completed correctly and in an efficient and customer-centric manner.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Completing all new business applications as quickly as reasonably possible with the highest levels of customer service and accuracy

  • Issuing business with the correct underwriting terms and conditions applied, as determined by the Underwriters

  • Managing business in accordance with agreed standards

  • Responding to enquiries from all stakeholders, either via phone, email, fax, or written, with the highest standard of customer service

  • Continuing to build strong internal relationships with New Business and the wider organisation

  • Ensuring established business guidelines regarding New Business are understood

  • Following all risk and compliance guidelines

  • Ensuring proper authority has been obtained when exceptions are required, following recommendations provided.

Ideally, you'll bring:

  • Previous customer service experience, ideally with a strong ability to handle complex information

  • Clear and precise communication skills

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Proven problem solving skills.
