Job Description:

This Senior Staff Accountant supports the business for General Ledger reconciliations, reporting, analysis, NWC forecasting, release forecasting, cash projections and payments forecasting, KPI and other analytics related to our NA Components business unit.  The ideal Senior Accountant has experience in general ledger accounting for a larger public company, with experience working with complex reconciliations and working with large volumes of data.   

What You’ll Be Doing: 

  • Under limited review, and as a seasoned, experienced professional with full understanding of accounting principles, evaluates more complex transactions and records to the GL as necessary to ensure the financials are accurate and complete. The position will work with both international & domestic entities.
  • Supports internal customers, develops relationships with various client groups and maintains/updates current financial information.
  • Responsible for the completion of complex balance sheet reconciliations and income statement analysis.
  • Identifies process problems and proposes improvements or course of action.
  • Research accounting literature.
  • Calculates, reviews and processes journal entries
  • Complete complex reconciliations and income statement analysis
  • Support and or participate on special projects. Leads projects of low complexity, developing project leadership skills.
  • Responsible for producing, reviewing, analyzing and issuing periodic reporting on general subject matter
  • Demonstrates an understanding of various accounting processes and identify root causes and areas for improvements.

What We Are Looking For: 

  • A 4 year degree in Accounting and a minimum of 5 years of related experience; or an advanced degree and a minimum of 4 years of related experience.
  • US GAAP knowledge
  • Pro-active, "can-do" mindset, strong organization & time-management skills

Work Arrangement:

Hybrid: 3 days in office/2days work from home

Annual Hiring Range/Hourly Rate:

$77,400.00 - $93,654.00

Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.
