This is a rare opportunity to join our dynamic HR function as an Operational Reward Manager. This newly crafted position is pivotal within the Global Reward team, reporting directly to the Global Head of Reward. You will lead a small, dedicated team, playing a key role in the detailed execution of our reward strategy. In a flat team structure, you will have significant ownership and exposure across the business, setting you up for a high-reaching career path within abrdn.
Drive Year End and other regular reward cycle planning and coordination of activities with Heads of HR and HR Business Partners.
Collaborate with crucial collaborators, particularly in Finance and the broader Reward team, to ensure ongoing communication regarding Variable Compensation accruals and salary budgets.
Advise business clients, alongside HR BPs, on managing Variable Compensation allocations and salary budgets in line with our Remuneration Philosophy.
Own the annual update of market data via McLagan, collaborating with the Employee Reward team and Global Head of Reward to structure and apply data-based reward parameters.
Coordinate legislative pay reporting and analysis processes, such as pay gap or equal pay reporting, leading all aspects of colleagues' input and external support as necessary.
Generate important analysis, finding opportunities for continual improvements in delivery and efficiency to inform potential changes.
Outstanding analytical and numerical approach.
Proven strong Excel skills.
Expertise in Power BI and Alteryx.
Experience working closely with a Finance function.
Knowledge of Workday/HR systems.
Clear and concise communication skills.
Ability to operate at pace and prioritize effectively.
Problem-solving approach, comfortable generating new ideas.
Demonstrable focus on change and agile approach to adapt to evolving circumstances and demands.
