As part of Autodesk's People & Places (PPL) organization, our Global Mobility team is on a mission to connect us globally and provide a high-level of support and guidance.
We are seeking a Senior Global Mobility Program Manager on a contract basis to provide coverage and support during an employee’s leave. You will be a liaison who communicates effectively across the company and will be part of a small but mighty team who plays an important role partnering with key stakeholders across the business on all relocation, expatriate and mobility tax matters.
You are a main contact and conduit who is adaptable and caring. You will not manage direct reports, but you will mentor, counsel, and guide more junior team members. You will report to our Director, Talent Acquisition Programs and Global Mobility. This role can be 100% remote in the U.S. or Canada.
Responsibilities
Oversee Autodesk's domestic and international relocation policies and programs, as well as global assignments
Actively manage our relocation and tax provider vendor relationships, leading case calls, obtaining reporting requirements and monitoring contract SLAs
Provide counsel and education to business stakeholders and employees on mobility and tax matters
Collaborate closely with your immigration counterparts on matters where relocation and immigration overlap
Together with relocation specialists, administer all day-to-day aspects of domestic and international relocations and expatriate assignments
Partner closely with internal finance, payroll, stock, tax and legal teams on process improvements, compliance, and standardization of operating procedures
Lead Mobility related project work, such as group move management
Intake process feedback from stakeholders to identify key areas of opportunity
May support M&A and global expansion work
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
Strong vendor management skillset
10+ years of Global Mobility or directly related experience. In-house experience required
Deep expertise in relocation, complex expatriate and mobility tax matters
Experience managing relocations and complex expatriate assignments in a wide variety of geos
Mobility budget management experience, including maintaining partnerships with finance/payroll for key processes such as forecasting and accrual
Ability to identify root causes and creatively problem solve
Willingness to accommodate multiple time zones
Flexible, positive, confident, and proactive attitude
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree
Experience with US/Global Immigration
Prior mid-size company experience; tech industry preferred
Experience with project management tools such as Asana, Smartsheets, Airtable, Monday.com
Workday experience
Timeframe: 6-9 month contract, starting as soon as December 1, 2024
