About the role:
As a Business Analyst, Digital Payment Solutions, you will serve as the voice of the customer, ensuring our teams consistently deliver best-in-class products that enhance the way we pay. You will collaborate within an Agile team environment and demonstrate self-motivation, proactivity, and innovation.
About the team:
You will be part of the FIS team dedicated to developing market leading 3D Secure and digital payment solutions for prominent local and international brands. Our suite of products includes Payment Gateway, Orchestration Services and 3D Secure for credit and debit cards as well as ApplePay, GooglePay, and an expanding range of international payment providers.
What you will be doing:
Customer and Product Team Interaction: Engage with both internal and external customers, as well as the Product team, to analyse their needs and define solution requirements.
Kick-offs & Workshops: Facilitate kick-off meetings with customers, product, and business teams to develop comprehensive deliverables.
Scheme Analysis: Examine 3DS scheme specifications and payment scheme specifications, advise the development team on necessary changes, and facilitate requirements definition.
User Story Management: Create and update user stories with relevant acceptance criteria.
Backlog Management: Prioritize, manage, and groom backlog items for development squads.
Agile Methodologies: Work with SAFe 6 Scrum delivery teams.
Product Development Support: Assist in the development and delivery of product, training, and marketing information.
What you will bring:
Business Analyst Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within an Agile software environment.
Communication Skills: Exceptional communication skills in English (spoken, written, and comprehension), with significant interaction expected with product owners, clients, implementation consultants, and salespeople.
Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Team Player: Ability to work effectively as part of a team, as well as independently with minimal supervision.
Time Management: Capability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and effectively prioritize concurrent tasks.
A bachelor’s in computer science, information systems, business administration or other related discipline, or the equivalent experience
Bonus if you have:
3D Secure Protocol knowledge
Payments knowledge and experience
Payments / PCI compliance experience
