We are searching for an innovative and operationally disciplined Director who will be The Director of Product Delivery to lead the successful execution of product initiatives with a focus on the LACA region, driving Western Union's business development growth objectives. In this role, you will play a critical part in defining and delivering innovative product concepts “right the first time and on time”, ensuring alignment with our strategic goals, and spearheading cross-functional collaboration.

Role Responsibilities

  • Define and articulate various aspects of new product concepts tailored to the LACA market. Ensure adequate Product Definitions that are clear and feasible for technology to implement in the required time.
  • Oversee the planning and execution of product initiatives within the LACA region, ensuring comprehensive risk mitigation, resource allocation, distribution strategies, and business requirements are met.
  • Develop and maintain product roadmaps specific to the LACA region, securing necessary project approvals while aligning with Western Union’s overarching business strategies and objectives.
  • Partner with geographically dispersed, cross-functional teams across the LACA region to implement product initiatives effectively. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, external partners, and third-party resources to drive successful outcomes. Main point of contact with the technology team.
  • Analyze market trends and customer feedback specific to the LACA region to identify opportunities for service enhancements and line extensions, leveraging insights to support business growth.

Role Requirements

  • Proven experience in product management or delivery within the LACA region or similar markets.
  • Strong understanding of operational and technical requirements related to product development, particularly in the context of LACA.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with a track record of managing diverse teams across different geographies.
  • Ability to think strategically while executing tactically.
  • Familiarity with risk management practices and project management methodologies.
