What You Will Do

The Lead Analyst, Finance Training & Development (FTD) plays a critical role in developing and delivering financial training programs to support the global finance organization. This role will focus on creating effective finance and accounting technical training materials, conducting training sessions, and ensuring the consistent application of financial best practices across the organization. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in accounting/finance, strong analytical skills, and a passion for training and development.

Training Program Development:

  • Assist manager in the creation of and updates to finance and accounting technical training materials, presentations, and e-learning modules.

    • Main focus areas will be: Record to Report, Invoice to Cash, Invoice to Pay

    • All material will be targeted to the learning objectives of each workstream.

  • Ensure training content is detailed, relevant, accurate, and aligned with organizational goals.

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to incorporate the latest financial practices and regulations into training materials.

  • Partner with Technical Accounting team to create and deliver training related to policy creation or updates as well as retraining where needed.

Training Delivery:

  • Conduct training sessions for finance teams, both in-person and virtually.

  • Utilize a variety of instructional techniques and formats, such as role-playing, simulations, team exercises, group discussions, videos, and lectures.

Support and Coordination:

  • Coordinate training schedules and logistics in collaboration with the Lead Training Specialist, Finance Training and Development

  • Support preparation for all FTD in-person events in local site (e.g., Core, AIM, RISE)

  • Maintain records of training activities, attendance, and outcomes.

  • Assist with Core and FTD Academy Training facilitation

  • Assist with training for the FAR Program and Summer Internship Program (SIP) in conjunction with the FTD Development team where needed

Continuous Improvement:

  • Gather feedback from trainees and stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and present proposal to direct manager

Compliance and Standards:

  • Ensure all training materials and programs comply with internal policies and external regulations.

  • Promote adherence to financial best practices across the global finance organization.

What You Need

  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in Accounting/Finance roles

  • Strong accounting skills

  • High level knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

  • Prior training or teaching experience strongly preferred

  • Experience in Record to Report, Invoice to Cash (A/R), or Invoice to Pay (A/P) strongly preferred

You will need to live within commuting distance to our Flower Mound, TX office. You will need to be in the office 2 days a week(Tues/Weds), but you will have the flexibility to work from home on the other days.

Travel Percentage: 20%
