The Manager, Credit Card Acquisition and Onboarding is responsible for executing and implementing strategies to drive quality new account volume through BMO’s pre-approved campaigns and BMO Virtual Connect channel.  They will support campaign growth by formulating strategies for product, offer, risk inclusion and segmentation, analyzing campaign results, forecasting and reporting. The ideal candidate will have a passion for strategy development as well-as data analysis, leveraging insights to help support business decisions that impact BMO’s retail pre-approved acquisition strategy. They will be a self-starter and able to move initiatives forward with pace, working with their partners to deliver mutually beneficial outcomes. This role reports into and will work closely with the Senior Manager, Credit Card Acquisition & Onboarding.

Strategy development:

  • Uses data-insights to formulate recommendations that grow the retail pre-approved campaign universe, improve booked rates, support new product/offer inclusion, drive marketing efficiency and deliver cost savings.
  • Supports quarterly campaign planning by working with cross-functional partners to understand their objectives and priorities, collaborating to develop test-and-learn initiatives. 
  • Accountable to develop an engagement strategy and action plan to drive credit card acquisition and knowledge within BMO Virtual Connect channel. 

Analytics & Reporting:

  • Responsible for weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting on retail pre-approved credit card acquisition and BMO Virtual Connect performance. 
  • Designs and produces regular/ad-hoc reports and dashboards.
  • Monitors and tracks campaign performance and brings any issues forward.

Campaign execution:

  • Works within the cross-functional pre-approved campaign project team to prepare for and deliver quarterly campaigns to drive retail, Wealth and partner credit card acquisition.
  • Supports customer/business partner escalations pertaining to pre-approved campaigns.

Relationship Management:

  • Builds collaborative relationships with internal partners in Risk, Marketing, Customer Optimization, Analytics, NARP product and Wealth business.
  • Owns the relationship with BMO Virtual Connect partners, working closely with them to identify and action opportunities to drive credit card acquisition, knowledge and skills improvement.

Skills & qualifications:

  • Between 5-10 years of relevant experience in credit cards, retail banking or product management
  • Strong experience in developing strategies and business cases that drive business results
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Data management software skills (e.g. Excel)
  • Business reporting development
  • Detail-oriented
  • Verbal & written communication skills
  • Collaboration & team skills

Salary:

$68,000.00 - $126,000.00

Salaried

The above represents BMO Financial Group’s pay range and type.

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position.
