THE PROGRAM

We're looking for students to join our Internship Program who are obsessively curious about 'what's next'. You'll get hands on experience with our products and learn from the best of the best in the business. You will complete a specific project in 10-12 weeks with us, while integrating into your team. By the time you end your time with us, you will have been given the opportunity to truly make a real impact in the future of Bose and your career!

Opportunities don't stop at your day-to-day work. While you're getting a targeted look at your area of expertise, we'll expose you to other areas of the company. Our interns are given the opportunity to connect with senior leadership across the business to understand different perspectives at Bose. You'll network with other interns and colleagues to grow your network for the future!

Timeframe - June-August 2025

THE ROLE

We are looking for an embedded software intern to join our Wearables Advanced Development team this summer!  In this role you will investigate the feasibility of, and fast-prototype predevelopment algorithms onto our headphone and earbud products.  This enables the ability to assess user feedback and gauge readiness for product integration.  The duration of this position is 3 months starting June 2025 (full-time 40 hours/week).

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work within a software development team to assess requirements and explore implementation details of new features.
  • Integrate new experience-based and audio features into the software product ecosystem.
  • Measure and validate the quality of algorithm prototypes 
  • Develop unit tests for quality assurance

QUALIFICATIONS
• Education: candidate for BS or MS in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bluetooth/BLE

  • Experience with DSP, audio concepts
