The Jordan Global Social & Integrated Media team sits within the Digital marketing function and is responsible for the planning, programming, and publishing of all global-level channels as well as directing and facilitating the social media approach for the brand. This team’s role is uniquely positioned as strategic thinkers and executors, both implementing plans at the global level and helping coordinate our geo teams against one vision in the social space at large.
What you will work on
In this role, you will operate as a key player in the day-to-day management & strategy of Jordan’s global social channels. You’ll lead special projects initiatives from strategy thru production and execute key brand defining and special project initiatives. You’ll partner with the rest of the Digital team, Brand Management and Brand Creative teams to create organic social programming & channel-right experiences for our existing followers & target audiences. You’ll also be responsible for ensuring the content we create reaches the new audience we seek to engage via creators, and partnership with media team. You will be the main connection point between key internal teams and agency partners to help craft strategic vision across earned spaces, bring it to execution and shop it around, ensuring content is delivered on time, on strategy and given the executive level visibility it requires.
You will work with the team to ensure synergy between Jordan’s 365 organic social approach and its owned and paid strategies.

Who you will work with
Organic Social Strategy and Implementation
- Execute & articulate Jordan Brand’s organic social strategy alongside the team
- Plan and coordinate social production
- Work alongside Brand Creative, geos and external agency teams to develop and execute content (through concept to publishing) that deliver on the social channel and content strategy.
- Partner with social team, GEO teams, NDDC and merchandising to ensure social commerce strategies are being executed across key social channels.
- Manage the Jordan global social editorial calendar and all user generated content, in partnership with our agency of record and other team members.
- Work with organic social analytics team to support & guide reporting & socialization to help optimize and educate internal partners
- Continue to build and help execute Jordan Brand’s proactive & reactive community management alongside our agency partner
- Work with Digital Team to develop holistic content strategies & find opportunities to create unique user journeys
- Direct and coordinate customer service interactions and opportunities in social alongside Nike CS team
- Develop clear audience led social briefs for agency teams and brand creative
- Stay on top of trends in social helping provide important intel to the entire org
- Manage and orchestrate asset organization and approvals ahead of social publishing alongside operations team
- Provide real time social support across sport, culture, and world moments with a level of flexibility, agility and strategic counsel for platform approach

Programming, Publishing
- Create seasonal and always-on programming of social in lockstep with brand priorities
- Input into content management tool (AirTable, Sprinklr etc.) and manage asset hand offs and translations in support of our geo partners
- Manage the social publishing calendar while driving communication and visibility across our seasonal and functional stakeholders
- Connect user experience from organic social to purchase/membership
Identify, Test, Learn
- Partner with Platform Strategy leads from Nike Inc to stay abreast of platform developments, incorporate platform-right opportunities into social campaigns

- 5-8 years of experience on a global social strategy team/and or at a social agency (content development, project management or production)
- Experience in social production & programming
- Proven experience in social platforms IG, YT, TW, Snapchat, TikTok
- Knowledge of emerging platforms and ability to articulate & execute on social/digital trends
- Experience growing a social presence against target audience goals
- Strong organizational and delegation capabilities, with ability to manage multiple workstreams at once
- Experience working in a large cross functional organization with multiple stakeholders and the ability to drive collaboration in support of your platform strategies and expertise
- Early adopter and problem solver for digital platforms (Comfortable trying new tools and adapting to process improvements)
- Prior experience managing social for basketball team or athletes/entertainers is a plus
- Experience working and managing content and projects within Sprinklr, AirTable, Asana, Opal (or other)
- High-level thinker with strong attention to detail and commitment to excellence
- Strong communication skills with the ability to be clear and concise
- Passion for & active participant in basketball culture and conversations
- Prior experience working with creators, athletes, and entertainers
- Knowledge of social commerce & emerging tech landscape
