Project Manager – Data Workstreams (Reporting, Analytics, and Migration)
This is a contract role, ideally to start immediately.
Overview:
We are seeking a Project Manager to manage data workstreams focusing on data migration, reporting and analytics initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a background in data management, excellent project management skills, and the ability to drive projects to successful completion. This role involves coordinating with cross-functional teams, business stakeholders to ensure data integrity and deliver data solutions that meet business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
1 Project Planning and Initiation:
◦ Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
◦ Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones & resource allocation
◦ Identify and document project requirements, risks, and dependencies.
2 Communication & Stakeholder Management:
◦ Facilitate communication among team members, stakeholders, and clients.
◦ Prepare and distribute meeting agendas, minutes, and status reports.
◦ Maintain project documentation and ensure it is up to date.
◦ Facilitate regular meetings with stakeholders to update them on project progress, risks, and issues.
◦ Assist in managing stakeholder expectations and ensure their requirements are accurately captured and addressed.
3 Team Coordination:
◦ Manage cross-functional teams, including data analysts, data engineers, developers, and business analysts.
◦ Facilitate collaboration and communication among team members.
◦ Coordinate with team members and stakeholders to ensure resources are allocated effectively.
◦ Track resource utilization and availability.
4 Data Intitiatives:
◦ Oversee the development and implementation of reporting solutions and dashboards.
◦ Plan and execute data projects, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
◦ Assist in developing and implementing data strategies, including data mapping, transformation, and validation.
◦ Assist in ensuring data quality and integrity throughout the migration process.
7 Risk Management:
◦ Identify potential project risks and issues.
◦ Assist in developing & implementing mitigation strategies, risk management plans and contingency strategies.
◦ Monitor and report on risks and issues, ensuring timely resolution.
8 Quality Assurance:
◦ Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and requirements.
◦ Assist in conducting quality assurance reviews.
9 Reporting and Documentation:
◦ Prepare and deliver regular project status reports, highlighting progress, risks, and issues.
◦ Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, meeting minutes, and risk logs.
◦ Assist in developing and maintaining user guides, training materials, and documentation for data solutions.
