Position Overview

This position can be based on-site at our office in Denver, CO, in alignment with our flexible work policy (3 days on site required, 2 days flexible); or open to Remote.

Vantage is seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic People & Culture Associate to join our dynamic team. This entry-level role is ideal for someone early in their HR career who is eager to gain hands-on experience across a wide range of HR functions. The Associate will support day-to-day operations and contribute to projects in recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, compliance, and more. This is a great opportunity to grow in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

Essential Job Functions

Onboarding & Orientation

  • Prepare new hire documentation and coordinate orientation sessions
  • Ensure new hires have the tools and resources they need
  • Partner with team members to deliver a seamless onboarding experience

HR Operations

  • Maintain accurate employee records and assist with HRIS updates
  • Process employee changes, leaves, and other personnel actions
  • Support data entry and reporting for HR metrics

Employee Engagement & Culture

  • Assist in planning and executing employee events and recognition programs
  • Help gather and analyze employee feedback
  • Support initiatives that promote a positive and inclusive workplace

Compliance & Policy

  • Help maintain up-to-date HR policies and ensure documentation compliance
  • Support audits and ensure adherence to employment laws and regulations

General Support

  • Respond to employee inquiries and direct them to appropriate resources
  • Provide administrative support to the P&C team
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to ongoing HR initiatives

Additional Duties

  • Additional duties as assigned by Management

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Internship or prior experience in HR or administrative support is a plus
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and a proactive mindset
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills and team orientation
  • Travel required is expected to be up to 5% but may increase over time as the business evolves

Additional Details

  • Salary Range: $42,000 - $52,000 Base + Bonus (this range is based on Colorado market data and may vary in other locations)
  • This position is eligible for company benefits including but not limited to medical, dental, and vision coverage, life and AD&D, short and long-term disability coverage, paid time off, employee assistance, participation in a 401k program that includes company match, and many other additional voluntary benefits.
  • Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including your qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
