About the Role

Master Data & Corporate Actions, this position is accountable for the processing & maintenance of investment master data and corporate actions on the SAP FAM system to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the accounting of AIA’s invested assets.

As a Senior Associate in Investment Accounting, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the flawless processing and maintenance of investment master data and corporate actions on the SAP FAM system, contributing to the accurate accounting of AIA's invested assets.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily investment master data and corporate actions processing strictly in accordance with Business Process Manuals, accounting policies, and standards to guarantee accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.

  • Maintain impeccable documentation for investment master data and corporate actions processes, adhering to Business Process Manuals.

  • Deliver prompt and satisfactory responses to inquiries about investment master data and corporate actions from Group and Local Finance, Investment Operations teams, and other individuals involved.

  • Collaborate with Support Group and Local Finance, Investment Operations teams, and other individuals involved in daily investment master data and corporate actions matters, as well as projects and initiatives.

  • Assist with month-end closing and provide ad hoc support during public holidays.

  • Mentor and support junior Associates of Data Control.

Job Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of experience in finance or accounting, preferably in the Financial Services industry.

  • Working knowledge of SAP is preferred.

  • Proven ability to record all required tasks and activities accurately and promptly in relevant systems.
