We are seeking a Senior IT Infrastructure Manager to lead our Manufacturing Operations Infrastructure Team. In this dynamic role, you will drive innovation, efficiency, and strategic growth, leading high-impact projects and collaborating across teams. You’ll be at the forefront of advancing our infrastructure, ensuring global systems reliability, and shaping the direction of our Manufacturing IT infrastructure. Your efforts will directly influence the efficiency and resilience of our operations, making a significant impact on the company’s growth and success.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING...

  • Lead and mentor a high-performing team of five IT experts, fostering growth, innovation, and collaboration within the Manufacturing Operations IT infrastructure team.
  • Design and implement scalable infrastructure solutions that align with business objectives, driving both immediate optimizations and long-term strategies to meet evolving demands.
  • Act as the primary Manufacturing IT liaison with Manufacturing Test and Software Development teams, creating integrated solutions to address operational challenges.
  • Oversee the deployment, maintenance, and monitoring of critical infrastructure, improving uptime, response times, and cost-efficiency.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive Business Continuity (BCP) and Disaster Recovery (DR) plans, ensuring operational resilience across all manufacturing environments.
  • Champion a culture of automation and process efficiency, leveraging tools like Puppet, Ansible, and Jira to streamline workflows, reduce manual processes, and improve system reliability.
  • Contribute to shaping the broader IT strategy in Manufacturing Operations, influencing key corporate decisions, driving asset lifecycle management, and exploring strategic partnerships.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE...

  • Proven leadership experience, with 3+ years of IT management in systems, network, or storage administration, and experience leading distributed teams.
  • Strong strategic thinker, capable of balancing short-term wins with a long-term vision to build scalable solutions that grow with the business.
  • Solid technical expertise in Linux, VMWare ESX, networking, SQL, and storage systems, enabling you to make informed decisions and guide your team effectively.
  • Hands-on experience with systems automation tools (Puppet, Ansible, etc.) and scripting languages (Bash, Python), driving automation to transform operations.
  • Exceptional communication skills, able to translate complex technical concepts into strategic initiatives for diverse stakeholders, including senior leadership.
  • Experience in developing and managing critical IT infrastructure, with a focus on operational excellence and cost-efficiency.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management of Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven management experience in IT infrastructure, with a background in systems, networking, or storage administration.
  • Expertise in automation and scripting, with experience using tools like Puppet, Ansible, or similar.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams, from technical staff to senior leadership.

You will be based in Lehi, UT. As this is an office-centric role, you are expected to be present in the office for 4 days a week. As outlined in Pure's Hybrid Work Policy, there will be variations over periods of time, depending on business need.

The annual base salary range is: $136,000 - $203,000. 

Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location. For positions open to candidates in multiple geographical locations, the base salary range is reflective of the labor market across the applicable locations. 

This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.
