Within RBS, Everyday Products is focussed on building innovative and value creating everyday products for all Australians. It is our role to drive sustainable growth of everyday transaction account products by delivering exceptional experiences for customers.

Reporting to the Everyday Products Chapter Lead, this Product Manager will play a key role in the Everyday Products squad supporting the day-to-day management of CommBank’s everyday transaction account products. This includes maintaining, simplifying and enhancing our products. As a member of the squad, you will support the Product Owner in executing initiatives to deliver against our business priorities, including delighting our customers with brilliant experiences and ensuring changes are safely executed.

More specifically, you will:

  • Be responsible for end-to-end product management of transaction account products 
  • Make recommendations and execute on product initiatives that drive Net Promotor Score (NPS) outcomes and sustainable growth of everyday transaction account products, working hand-in-hand with delivery team and navigating governance frameworks to do so
  • Identify opportunities to simplify products and improve processes
  • Proactively identify, understand and manage risks across the business, including performance of controls to ensure our products are operating as designed, including fee and interest accuracy
  • Proactively identify opportunities to uplift our Standard Operating Procedures
  • Monitor the external environment, including competitors, economic trends, technology changes and regulatory changes
  • Support the Product Owner in delivery of strategic items on the product roadmap and other BAU activities

We want to hear from you if you have:

  • Previous product management experience, preferably in financial services
  • Customer obsession at your core
  • Strong communication, stakeholder and influencing skills
  • Keen ability to interpret insights from data and make data-driven decisions
  • Advanced ability to drive outcomes and execute on a roadmap of initiatives
  • Strong problem solving capabilities, with high proficiency in balancing strategic objectives, risk, customer and business outcomes
  • A growth mindset and high learning agility
  • Risk mindset – all CommBank employees are expected to proactively identify and understand, openly discuss and act on current and future risks
  • Tertiary qualification in a business or related field preferred
