SSSD has an opening for a Principal Project Manager (Level 3) to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals, and this position will be located in Redondo Beach, CA. This position is contingent upon obtaining customer funding and holding final clearances prior to start date.

A qualified candidate will assist with project management support associated with the Program Office and SEIT, and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

-Support to program access requests

-Understanding of technical resources such as CPort, Confluence, Jira, ENOVIA, etc. for Staffing and Onboarding support

-Ability to manage program support to deliverables such as Risk & Opportunity management in RMOF and coordination with IPTs; GFX coordination with customer and response to contract attachment; Data Accession List support and delivery to customer; and Coordinator for Engineering Review Board.

-Program execution support, including acting as Jira Scrum Master. This will include making updates to the Kanban board with prioritized management tasks.

-Move tasks/bugs on board confirm priorities with IPT lead for Sub-IPTs.

-Act as monthly logistics lead for PMRs across NG sites

-Handle coordination for technical interchange meetings with customer, IPTs, and subcontractors

-Coordinate customer meetings/tours over multiple NG sites

-Handle coordination for Business Unite status reporting, and Business Unit/Division/Sector status requests

Basic Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university and 5+ years of related professional experience OR

-Master’s degree from an accredited university and 3+ years of related professional experience OR

-PhD from and accredited university and 1+ years of related professional experience
-Dynamic self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to function independently.
-Demonstrated flexible approach to work and the ability to work collaboratively on a team.
-Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
-Experience with Windows-based MS Office tools, including MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.

-Candidate must have an active, within scope, or current U.S. Government DOD Top Secret security clearance at time of application and prior to start date OR  

-Candidate must have active SCI access at time of application with a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) completed within the last 5 years and prior to start date


Preferred Qualifications:

-Master’s degree from an accredited university in a Business, Technical or related discipline

-Active DOD Top Secret clearance and active SCI access at time of application with a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) completed within the last 5 years at time of application and prior to start date

Salary Range: $88,700.00 - $133,100.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
