The opportunity:
We are looking for a Regional Health Safety and Environmental (HSE) specialist to join our HUB Europe HSE Team for our Transformers Business Unit!
In this role, you will provide essential support to European Geographical Areas (HUB) and Local Operating Units, focusing on HSE including training and continuous improvement.
We are considering remote position for this role.
How you’ll make an impact:
Provide comprehensive support to Business Units on both local and regional scales, enhancing HSE Training & Competency Development.
Monitor and report on Business Unit processes, aiding HUBs in the implementation and improvement of HSE Management Systems, KPIs, and training programs.
Coordinate, deploy, and follow up on HSE Training Plans, continuously proposing and implementing improvements.
Implement and monitor HSE Management Systems and Training Improvement Programs, ensuring corrective actions are effectively executed.
Lead the certification and qualification process for HSE trainers, adhering to ISO standards and HUB Europe requirements.
Ensure efficient HSE qualifications in each factory to meet both current and future capacity needs.
Support internal and external audits, preparing for and assisting during HSE audits, and following up on the resolution of Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
Utilize IT systems to enhance HSE Training & Competency Development processes, ensuring effective coordination and evaluation of progress and compliance.
Your background:
University Degree: Occupational Safety and Health (required) or similar.
Over 6 years of relevant experience as an HSE professional, preferably with international operations support and over 4 years, in HSE training plans and campaigns.
Experience in HSE roles within Servicing, Manufacturing, Testing, and HSE management and administration.
Experience with ISO 45001:2018, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 50001:2018 standards, and HSE reporting and KPIs.
Willingness to travel regional & globally (10-20% time) and exceptional communication skills in English.
