We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Manager to join our team at AnyMind Hong Kong Office, Digital Marketing team. The ideal candidate will have direct experience with digital solutions in the China market, with specific expertise in driving sales on Xiaohongshu (XHS) and Douyin.In this role, you will play a key role in driving revenue growth and expanding our potential client base. You will be responsible for overseeing the advertising sales activities and implementing strategies to achieve them.
What You'll Do
Develop and execute sales strategies and plans to achieve company sales targets and objectives
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, serving as their primary point of contact for strategic initiatives and issue resolution
Commit to achieving the monthly targets set for sales gross profit and the specified quantity of new clients required per month
Responsible for the pitching decks or media proposals, following up on campaigns, contributing to product development, and participating in ad-hoc project integration
Identify new business opportunities, target markets, and client segments to drive revenue growth
Stay informed about industry developments, client needs, and emerging technologies to stay ahead in the market
Who You Are
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in advertising sales, business development, or a related client-facing role within the digital marketing industry (e.g., at an agency, ad tech platform, or media publisher).
Specific experience in China-market digital solution planning.
Familiarity with the advertising and selling ecosystems of Xiaohongshu (XHS) and Douyin will be a significant bonus.
A proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets, with demonstrable experience in managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to close.
Strong existing network and relationships with potential clients (brands and agencies) in the Hong Kong market.
In-depth knowledge of the digital advertising landscape, including key trends, technologies (e.g., programmatic, social media, influencer marketing, content creation), and measurement frameworks.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to craft and deliver compelling media proposals and pitching decks.
A strategic thinker with strong analytical skills to identify market opportunities and client needs.
Self-motivated, resilient, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
Full professional proficiency in English and Cantonese. Mandarin is a strong plus.
