What you will do:

This position is responsible for driving engagement and compliance with the company's safety and security programs across corporate offices, 150 hotels in 26 states, and other establishments while consistently delivering the highest level of customer service.

The Assistant Director of Corporate Safety and Security develops, establishes, and enforces corporate policies, standards, procedures, and initiatives to protect team members, physical assets, and guests in accordance with company objectives and industry standards.

What we expect:

  • Ability to clearly and effectively communicate in English both verbally and in writing

  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate team members.

  • Excellent organization, planning, and leadership skills.

  • Proven experience in hotel safety and security management or a similar role.

  • Strong knowledge of industry regulations and best practices related to safety and security.

  • Thorough knowledge of all local, state, and federal laws pertaining to the activities of security personnel.

  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations calmly and effectively.

  • Agility in multi-tasking.

  • Strong investigative skills.

  • We are seeking candidates who can commit to being available on a 24-hour basis as needed for this role. This may include night shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Preferred or Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice or related field is required.

  • Certified Protection Professional (CPP) is preferred.

  • Seven years of Corporate Safety and security experience, or previous police department, public safety, fire department, or military experience, is preferred.

  • In-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations is preferred.

  • Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint Experience is preferred.

  • Five years of managerial experience is preferred.
