Project Role Description : Provide ongoing technical support and maintenance of production and development systems and software products (both remote and onsite) and for configured services running on various platforms (operating within a defined operating model and processes). Provide hardware/software support and implement technology at the operating system-level across all server and network areas, and for particular software solutions/vendors/brands. Work includes L1 and L2/ basic and intermediate level troubleshooting.

Windows Desktop Management Engineer (Specialist)
Summary
As an Application Support Engineer, you will be responsible for identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems. Your typical day will involve providing support for Microsoft Windows Desktop Management and ensuring smooth functioning of the system
Ideal Candidate Profile:
-Knowledge in Desktop Management and Troubleshooting.
-Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and support processes.
- Knowledge in providing technical support to end-users.
- Knowledge of ITIL processes and procedures.
Primary Skill:
- Excellent troubleshooting knowledge of Windows OS
- Knowledge on Active directory and GPO policies
- Knowledge on SCCM/MECM and Intune
- Familiar with scripting knowledge (PowerShell, VB Script)
- Good knowledge on MDM and certificate management
Secondary Skill:
Good to have knowledge in M365 (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive)
Responsibilities:
Day to Day Responsibilities
Provide technical support for Microsoft Windows Desktop Management and resolve any issues that arise. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and solve issues within multiple components of critical business systems.
Be responsible for ensuring that the EUC Services are meeting the expectations regarding quality, User experience and performance against applicable Service Levels
Ensure the maintenance schedule for the EUC estate is maintained to ensure a secure and stable estate, including actively managing tasks such as patch deployment and feature updates;?
Ensure all EUC hardware and Software standards are implemented and followed, ensuring compliance, governance, version control, and clarity of purpose
Be responsible for the provision and automation of relevant global images for end-user devices. This involves maintaining a standardized operating system and software configuration that will be deployed across all applicable devices
Image management involves maintaining and updating the images to ensure it remains up-to-date, secure, and compatible with Lloyd’s requirements.?
Perform mobile device management (MDM) by utilizing the current mobile device management tool
perform patch management and software distribution services for the end-user devices.
be responsible for resolving Problems related to end-user devices and engineering services that are triaged from the service desk team
manage and maintain the mobile device management platform (Intune & SCCM)
test, pilot, backup and perform production rollouts of packages via the deployment tooling
Additional Information:
The candidate should have a minimum of 7+ years of experience working as an Desktop and MDM engineer
A 15 year full time education is required.
