What you'll do...
Reporting into the Director, Operations – Audit & Controls, the Manager, Operations – Business Affairs, will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our company by managing and streamlining Walmart Connects PO process.
At the core, you will have a procurement and project management skillset with an appetite to lead transformation. If you are passionate about driving organizational growth and thrive in dynamic environments, this role is for you!
You will fully own the Business Affairs workstream for Walmart Connect. This will include owning the inputs for PO (Purchase Order) creation and subsequent pursuit to ensure proper payment to vendors. Verifying internal teams are aligned on proper documentation and approvals prior to PO creation will be important to this role's success.

Review and approve operational expense purchase orders (PO) across the business; Partner with cross-functional stakeholders on increasing ROI of non-wage investments (e.g. by leveraging existing Walmart Infrastructure). Work collaboratively to achieve objectives and communicate to a variety of audiences with influence and inspiration to garner commitment and action
Develop ways of working for the procurement process at Walmart Connect. Ensure proper process and policy adherence for internal business processes related to procurement. Be the key liaison between Finance, Global Procurement, Procurement Ops and WMC Business.
Continually improve process by identifying areas of efficiencies and opportunities for automation. Manage dashboards/reports to track progress of PO and adherence to annual operating plan. Review systems and enhance capabilities to raise productivity.
You will be an individual contributor but will need to lead and develop an operational program for Walmart Connect. As the scope grows there may be future opportunity to build, mentor, and manage a team of business affairs professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support.
Stay up to date with financial accounting regulations, industry best practices, and emerging trends to proactively address potential accounting issues/risks.
Develop training programs and materials to educate internal teams on the procure to pay process and best practices.
Bachelor’s degree required
5+ years relevant work experience in Business Operations, Finance, Program Management, Procurement or Accounting
Digital advertising or media experience a plus
Ability to thrive under pressure and handle multiple priorities simultaneously
Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality
Ability to strategically structure and use frameworks to break down complex problems into clear steps and plans
Business process savvy, ideally including an understanding of business processes, how systems support these processes, and the related risks that impact financial reporting
Experience working with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders
Strong leadership abilities with a track record of managing and developing high-performing teams through periods of rapid growth and ambiguity

Hoboken, New Jersey US-10279:The annual salary range for this position is $84,000.00-$156,000.00
San Bruno, California US-08848:The annual salary range for this position is $91,000.00-$169,000.00
Bentonville, Arkansas US-09401:The annual salary range for this position is $70,000.00-$130,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
