Job Summary

Reporting to the Finance Team Lead, you will perform non-repetitive, clerical accounting responsibilities which require familiarity with accounting office practices. Post and balance subsidiary ledgers, such as accounts payable or receivable. Help prepare, adjusting, and closing journal entries. Ensure payments of vendor invoices and expense vouchers and maintain accurate records. 3+ years related experience.

Position Responsibilities

  • Process transactional information into relevant financial systems
  • Maintain controls involving processing transactions in relevant financial systems
  • Analyze transactional and financial information, and communicate findings to appropriate individuals
  • Document processes and recommend process improvements
  • Performance moderately complex, repetitive, and non-repetitive clerical accounting responsibilities which require familiarity with accounting procedures
  • Complete ad hoc requests for/from partners in and accurate manner
  • Help implement process improvement initiatives while maintaining a internal control environment

Position Qualifications

  • Associate degree in business, accounting or related work experience required
  • 3 year of relevant accounting/bookkeeping experience preferred
  • Proficiency in Excel (formulas, v-look ups, pivot tables) required
  • Understanding of basic accounting principles
