S&P Global Market Intelligence – EMEA Account Management Associate

The Team:

The EMEA Market Intelligence Account Management team is seeking a London based Associate to assist senior Account Managers with ground support in driving revenue acquisition across S&P Market Intelligence’s financial customers in the UK and across Europe.  This role requires working closely with our firm’s most seasoned Sales and Account Management professionals and surrounding teams such as legal, marketing, product, and client success.  The day-to-day tasks may vary by team but broadly the role will be supporting a team of senior Account Managers in their business development and management responsibilities in a sales operation’s role.

This is an office-based role.

Responsibilities:

  • Produce pipeline and activity reports to help enhance sales process
  • Create heat maps and P&L reports across client types with help of CRM system
  • Prepare customer relationship reviews and account plans
  • Prepare presentations for internal and external customer meetings
  • Conduct relevant customer research through various online tools
  • Create and keep current org charts for each strategic account, including key stakeholders, sales specialists, and open opportunities
  • Create monthly customer newsletters and be a bridge to the marketing department
  • Help organize client events; create invites, track replies

What We’re Looking For:

  • Preference for a university graduate with a finance, economics, business, management degree
  • 1-2 years’ work experience in financial markets or related industry
  • Strong Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) proficiency
  • Experience in using Salesforce will be beneficial
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, ability to balance variety of tasks
  • Must be a proactive, self-starter, willing to positively impact the team
  • Must be a collaborative team player
