Job Description – Software Development

  • The candidate will be expected to take ownership of development tasks assigned to them and will produce high quality software to deliver on these tasks.
  • The candidate is expected to be well versed in principles of and best practices in software development and should be able to apply them within the boundaries and constraints of the project they work in.
  • The candidate will have a strong focus on software quality, productivity, and delivery.
  • The candidate should be able to design or assist in designing components and subsystems based on the requirements and specifications provided by the Business Analysts.
  • They should be able to decompose their development tasks based on their designs and provide development estimates.
  • They will be expected to communicate and collaborate with Business Analysts to clarify requirements. Their collaboration with Quality Assurance will ensure bugs being resolved effectively and efficiently.

Job Description – QA

  • Work closely with product team to understand the requirements from business perspective.
  • Coordinate with Product and QA teams to ensure the specifications are implemented
    as per the requirements.
  • Design and write maintainable automated feature scripts using automation frameworks.
  • Execute/run test cases, review test results and report defects.
  • Extensive coordination with product and Dev team on requirement gaps and functional issues resolution
  • Coordination with Performance test team to provide the necessary functional details.
  • Basic understanding of JAVA/Python or any programming language is desirable.

Job Description – Application Support

  • Your duties will include the providing technical L2 and L3 support to both internal and external.
  • customers across our full suite of OTC Derivative products and FX for post-trade confirmation processing.
  • You will need to demonstrate excellent communication skills and have a natural ability to learn with

a keen interest in technology. You must be a team player and enjoy working in a high-performance collaborative global group.

  • The successful candidate will need to able to learn/apply strong technical skills and good business knowledge, together with investigative techniques and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues in a timely and high-quality manner.
  • Liaising with other team members, Product, Development and particularly the infrastructure teams as required for 3rd line escalation. Technical advisory will be required at times by Product and business or clients for solution delivery.
  • Working directly with clients, to understand and resolve issues and liaising with delivery teams to
  • ensure readiness for new platform releases. You will be responsible for handling escalations, identify and communicate technical resolutions.
  • You will also work on initiatives around platform industrialization, proactive application health monitoring and reporting.

Job Description – Infrastructure Roles

  • Degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent area of technical study
  • Good knowledge of computer and networking fundamentals
  • Experience with Linux OS, programming, and scripting languages
  • Experience in Java and Python programming language
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills – written and verbal.

Responsibilities:

After initial induction program, engineer would be assigned to one of the following IT services teams.

  • Linux
  • IT Ops
  • Storage and Backup – Netapp, Commvault
  • Connectivity and MQ technologies

● LINUX:

  • Will be part of IT Infrastructure team to Install and maintain all server hardware and software systems.
  • This would involve upgrading new versions, testing, troubleshooting issues, user accounts creation etc.
  • Design and maintain all system tools for all scripts and automation processes and monitor all capacity planning.

  ● IT Ops:

  • Will be part of IT infrastructure management team responsible for configuring, managing, and delivering IT environments in data center and cloud infrastructure.
  • Developing and implementing policies, procedures, and processes to improve IT operations and increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Troubleshooting issues, managing help desk and ticketing systems

● Storage and Backup – Netapp, Commvault

  • Will be part of team responsible for Configuration, monitoring, administration, and maintenance of NetApp storage environment including Backup servers, backup storage, network configuration and clients.
  • Will be part of team responsible for Configuration, monitoring, administration, and maintenance of backup environment including Backup servers, backup storage, network configuration and clients.

● Connectivity and MQ technologies

  • Will be part of team responsible for administering, migrating, installing, upgrading, and configuring IBM MQ.
  • Support IBM MQ on Linux servers
