JOB DESCRIPTION:

SUMMARY OF POSITION

Assists with facility, schedule, and program duties. Provides ongoing support and direction in order to develop skills to improve performance and competence of staff. Assists program Manager with coordination of services. Assists with general program needs for supervision, growth, education, and oversight. Works to meet program goals.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for all aspects of Supervision of assigned staff including the onboarding process for new hires and educating staff on specifics of their hired role and job expectations, educating staff on the interdisciplinary components of substance use disorder treatment/ recovery. Teaching staff on appropriate life skill development and case management services, educating staff on utilization of EMR and development of person-centered care plans. Providing on-going guidance to staff to help develop and implement job skills.
  • Responsible for organizing, structuring, and collaborating with staff to provide activities for clients and families.
  • Responsible for developing and maintaining resource room and curriculum files.
  • Works with Manager to support community relationships and assist with attendance at community functions as necessary.
  • Assists with developing programming in accordance with requirements including the appropriate oversight.
  • Assists Manager with ensuring, that the number of clients leaving against medical advice remains low.
  • Ensures Team completes clinical documentation within service timeframes provided.
  • Ensures Team completes ANSA /reassessments/ ASAM’s, treatment plans and other clinical service authorizations in a timely manner.

  • Effectively communicate via written, verbal, in person and virtual methods.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education Level

Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university required; Master’s degree preferred; preferably in psychology, social work, education, or a related field. Experience working and/or volunteering within the behavioral health, criminal justice, or social services field can be considered in place of degree.

Years of Experience

Experience working and/or volunteering within the behavioral health, criminal justice, or social services is preferred.

$55,900.00--$78,330.00
