This role is an Operational Excellence Lead role, reporting to the Site Operations Management Lead. As a member of the Andover Operational Excellence team, the Operational Excellence Lead is responsible for supporting sustainability of our Pfizer Production System, known as IMEx (Integrated Manufacturing Excellence), in the Andover site, and ensuring a culture of Continuous Improvement.
The Operational Excellence Lead will provide expertise, coaching, and analysis in Six Sigma/problem-solving, Lean, Innovation, and Pfizer Human Performance (PHP), across the site. In this role, the Operational Excellence Lead will charter and lead complex Green and Black Belt Lean/Six Sigma projects. They will also coach OpEx projects, including Yellow Belts (M1s).
The Operational Excellence Lead will also work closely with functional departments, product teams, and/or Process Centric Teams (PCTs) for the purposes of matching solutions and deployment methodologies to the business situation and develop the necessary performance measures to gauge success. They will demonstrate and support IMEx leadership skills, including coaching and managing change, while maintaining a customer focus. They will support programs and/or project portfolios to add value for the site and progress us towards our long-term vision (including project management, performance tracking and problem solving for the program).

Applicant must have a High School Diploma (or Equivalent) and 10 years of relevant experience OR an Associate’s degree with 8 years of experience OR a Bachelor's with at least 5 years of experience OR Master’s Degree with more than 3 years of experience, OR a PhD with 0+ years of experience.
Experience applying Six Sigma/Lean tools to address key problems.
Demonstrated business acumen and experience in Project management.
Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to share vision, direction, and data with colleagues across all levels.
Leadership and influencing skills, willing to drive positive change through their work.
Bachelor’s degree in science / engineering discipline preferred.
Experience with training and solid application of Six Sigma/Lean (Green or Black Belt-certified or on path to certification) tools
Capability in Lean tools and/or desire to grow Lean capabilities to further drive CI
Strong Pfizer Human Performance (PHP) practitioner experience
DMAIC/DMARA workshop delivery desirable
Physical/Mental Requirements:
Ability to facilitate workshops and training sessions for up to a full work day
Self-motivated individual with a demonstrated record of developing strong work relationships in cross-functional teams.
Flexible and able to balance multiple priorities
Demonstrated business acumen with ability to align work teams towards a common goal.
