SHOULD YOU ACCEPT THIS CHALLENGE...

In this role you will collaborate closely with Pure’s procurement team and you will be part of Pure’s Best Legal Team on the Planet. You will negotiate contracts with Pure’s vendors and assist the procurement team with various legal requests. The ideal candidate is an effective communicator who anticipates needs and maintains composure under pressure. Attention to detail and exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal skills are essential.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE...

  • Provide contract review and negotiation support for inbound transactions contracts, working closely with the procurement team,  and collaborating with internal stakeholders such as: IT, HR, Finance, Marketing, Sales, and others.
  • Offer proactive legal support to a fast-growing team, requiring a strong track record in managing multiple matters. 
  • Draft, review, and negotiate Pure vendor templates and various vendor agreements, including but not limited to: Master Services Agreements, Master Subscription Agreements, ,software licensing agreements, leases agreements, SOWs and more.
  • Collaborate with Global Procurement and Finance on strategy, process improvements, and the creation of legal templates and training sessions.
  • Deliver rapid legal support to internal clients, manage risk effectively, and uphold high standards of responsiveness.

Qualifications

  • Qualified attorney in home jurisdiction / in good standing. 
  • 3-6 years law firm and/or in-house experience required, with such experience focused on negotiating inbound agreements.  
  • Experience negotiating complex vendor agreements, including: for the purchase of hardware, software or SaaS / cloud solutions.
  • Experience creating operational efficiencies for scaling business preferred.
  • Have the ability to quickly establish trusted relationships with your internal clients.  Must be able to work effectively and collaboratively with a growing legal team and cross-functionally with Puritans at all levels of our organization.
  • Ability to listen thoughtfully, evaluate risk in light of business and practical considerations, and make clear recommendations.
  • Have strong communication and interpersonal skills.  Exhibit grace under pressure.  Be comfortable operating in changing and challenging situations.  Be an accelerator of the business by providing responsive, solutions-oriented Legal support!

We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Lehi, Utah office in compliance with Pure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.

The annual base salary range is: $112,000 – $169,000. 

Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location. For positions open to candidates in multiple geographical locations, the base salary range is reflective of the labor market across the applicable locations. 

This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.
