As an Investments Development Programme (IDP) Associate, you’ll rotate through and work alongside experienced Investment professionals. Rotations may include, but are not limited to the following business areas:
• Equity & Fixed Income Research
• Portfolio Management Teams
• Equity & Fixed Income Trading
After exploring the breadth of the business unit(s) through each rotation, you may have the opportunity to apply for a permanent position within Columbia Threadneedle.
To be eligible for the programme, you should:
Be available to start no later than September 2025.
Be a current final year student or recent graduate within the last six months studying a bachelor’s degree.
Be able to commit to complete the full 24-month programme.
As an Investments IDP, you should have high degree of self-motivation with strong integrity and ethics that aligns with Columbia Threadneedle’s core values (Client Focus, Excellence, Respect, and Integrity).
You should also demonstrate:
Proven organisation skills and ability to manage time effectively.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Suite, particularly Excel.
Coding or Python skills is highly desirable, although not essential.
Adept Data Analysis skills would be beneficial: this will become a key part of your role.
