WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

You will work with the Senior Customs Specialists and North America Trade and Customs (NATC) teammates across Operations, Compliance and Capabilities. This role partners with Nike functions including Supply Chain Operations, Transportation, Technology, Design, Development, Finance, and external business partners.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

A Customs Specialist II with footwear classification knowledge and experience in international trade. Strong discerning skills who can organize incoming workflow and prioritize effectively. A facilitator and collaborator able to triage and resolve requests for the US Customs Operations Team. Capabilities should include strong attention to detail, a learn and grow mindset, and the ability to simplify and go. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills, a passion for working collaboratively, a strong bias for action, problem-solving acumen, robust self-awareness, an appetite for learning and a passion for moving the world forward through the power of sport.

The candidate needs:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Analytics, Supply Chain, International Trade or equivalent combination of education, experience or training
  • Minimum 2 years in  US Customs Import work
  • Strong organizational skills, detail oriented + clear communication
  • Required to sit / stand for long hours, must be able to prepare & conduct desk work, presentations & meetings

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

If this is you, you’ll be collaborating with business partners and functions across the enterprise to facilitate Customs operations and deliver daily support to the NATC team. You’ll be providing critical responses to Nike partners, streamlining incoming requests and identifying and engaging relevant stakeholders. You’ll be an active contributor, team focused, able to elevate those around you and take direction easily:

  • You’ll be coordinating with stakeholders on footwear classification  
  • You’ll be resolving shipment exceptions with brokerage partners
  • You’ll be learning trade-specific insights and skills related to Nike footwear
  • You’ll be engaging with development teams on footwear duties and product review
  • You’ll be responsible for expeditious team support, balancing multiple priorities, demonstrating interactive teamwork through agility and flexibility to serve the purpose of getting products in the hands of athletes*
