Role Description


Founded in 1992 with club events in Liverpool, Cream has evolved over the past 30 years into one of the world's leading promoters of electronic music events, hosting festivals and events across the UK and globally. We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team in an exciting role that supports the Head of PR & Communications. The successful candidate will play a key part in delivering impactful press coverage, writing compelling press releases, and contributing to various aspects of our event promotion, all aimed at engaging and captivating our audience.

Who you are


Competencies / Skills / Knowledge / Experience

  • An understanding of the basic elements of PR & Marketing and an appetite for discovering new media platforms and feature opportunities to secure good quality editorial
  • Excellent writing, spelling, grammar and copywriting skills
  • Good communication skills
  • A good understanding of the media landscape and various platforms to promote events
  • Must be able to multitask and have strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a number of projects at the same time
  • PR / Marketing qualifications desirable
  • Proficient using MS Office (Word / Excel / Outlook)
  • Photoshop design skills advantageous but not essential

What the role includes

  • Creating, planning and securing editorial coverage across all media, and lead responsibility for strategy and delivery of online and regional press for all related events and festivals
  • Drafting press releases and syndication
  • Drafting content for various platforms
  • Ability to keep multi-event PR and Ticket Agent plans up to date and delivery weekly reports
  • Managing event listings across relevant media
  • Ensuring media databases are kept up to date and building relationships
  • Responsible for setting up ticket agent marketing and ensuring promotion opportunities are maximised throughout all campaigns
  • Customer service – responding and assisting with customer enquiries
  • Liasing with artist management to secure press and utilise databases, social media and any other available routes to market via artist platforms
  • Communicating with artist management teams sourcing EPK’s, announcements securing artist support etc
  • Setting up competitions, artist press interviews etc
